Ferghana Region Strengthens Cooperation with Turkish Investors in Agriculture and Tourism

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Hokim of Ferghana Region, Khairullo Bozorov, held a meeting with a group of Turkish investors to discuss prospects for cooperation in agriculture and tourism.

The founder of Orca Global outlined plans to export Ferghana raspberries, pomegranates, and other fruits to Turkey and European countries, as well as presenting further projects in the agricultural sector. Preliminary agreements were reached for joint work in these areas.

Additionally, the hokim discussed with Ertan Haldun, head of the Turkish premium hotel chain Eser Hotels, the implementation of a hotel project in Kokand under the Eser Hotels brand.

The investor shared plans to organize educational sessions and practical training in hospitality for local youth. Both sides also exchanged views on attracting Turkish tourists to the region.

The Hokim of Ferghana Region expressed confidence that the Eser Hotels project will draw the attention of other international hotel chains to the area.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to intensify cooperation based on the initiatives discussed.
