Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The recent visit of a Ferghana region delegation led by Khokim Khayrullo Bozorov to the People’s Republic of China is already yielding concrete results. The agreements reached during the trip are now moving towards practical implementation.

In accordance with the agreements, the Ferghana region was visited by a delegation from the Chinese company Xinjiang Yanshi Dehai Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., which has significant experience in the agribusiness sector — from seed selection to deep cotton processing.

The region’s Khokim, Khayrullo Bozorov, held a meeting with the delegation, led by company representative Yan Hu. During the talks, prospects for developing seed farming in the region, growing high-quality raw cotton in accordance with international standards, and opportunities for deep processing of agricultural products were discussed.

As a result of the meeting, specific areas for bilateral cooperation were defined. The focus was on strengthening the value chain in the agricultural sector, implementing advanced technologies, and creating new jobs in the region.
