Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Cooperation between TEXNOPARK, a member of the “Uzeltehsanoat” Association, and the Chinese company Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator has reached a new level with the signing of a five-year Memorandum of Understanding.

According to the agreements reached, between 2025 and 2028, TEXNOPARK’s production facilities will establish localized manufacturing of 500 elevators under the Shanghai Mitsubishi brand. This initiative will make a significant contribution to the development of the national industry, strengthen Uzbekistan’s position in high-tech mechanical engineering, and help meet domestic demand while expanding export potential.

The project aims to combine innovative solutions, international standards, and local manufacturing capabilities. The presence of global brands like Shanghai Mitsubishi confirms the formation of a modern and competitive business environment in Uzbekistan.

Currently, TEXNOPARK operates a modern plant capable of producing up to 4,000 elevators annually. Products are manufactured under the AKFA BUILD and OSTEN brands and comply with European requirements—the CE certification under the EU Directive 2014/33/EU confirms adherence to safety and quality standards.

The “Uzeltehsanoat” Association congratulated the TEXNOPARK team on the signing of this important agreement and wished them continued success in the industry’s development.
