Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation led by Kazim Çiçek, Coca-Cola’s Regional Head for Eurasia and the Middle East, paid an official visit to Samarkand region, marking an important step in promoting Uzbek industrial products on international markets.

The visit, initiated by the Uzbek Electrical Industry Association (UzEltechsanoat), included a tour of the Sam-Ferre plant, a manufacturer of display freezers. Talks focused on the potential export of Sam-Ferre’s products not only for Coca-Cola’s operations in Uzbekistan but also across all Eurasian and Middle Eastern regions.

During the meeting, Coca-Cola conducted a thorough assessment of the plant’s compliance with international technical and sanitary standards, sustainability criteria, corporate social responsibility, and production safety. A special quality audit, initiated by Coca-Cola, is currently underway.

Following the audit and negotiations, Sam-Ferre’s products are expected to be integrated into Coca-Cola’s regional supplier network, opening new export opportunities for Uzbek manufacturers and paving the way for competitive local products to enter the global market.
