Denis Istomin reaches second round of US Open

Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin had to fight back to defeat Ryan Sweeting (USA) in the first round clash of the US Open.
The match lasted 2 hours and 47 minutes. Denis Istomin lost the first set with the score 6/3 despite he was leading in the set beginning.
The Uzbek player claimed next three sets in tough match to claim the ticket to next round – 7/5, 6/4 and7/6 (7/4).
In the second round, Denis Istomin will play against France’s Julien Benneteau.
