Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The newly established state-run Cyber University has signed memoranda of cooperation with the School of Engineering at Stanford University — one of the world’s leading and most prestigious institutions — through its Global Online Education Center, as well as with the University of Washington.

Cyber University has become the first university in Uzbekistan to establish official partnership ties with Stanford. At the same time, an international cooperation agreement was signed with the University of Washington.

These memoranda are aimed at strengthening Cyber University’s international academic engagement and enhancing its status in the global educational landscape.

Under the signed agreements, the parties plan to implement joint projects, conduct scientific research, develop curricula, and organize academic exchange programs in priority areas such as modern IT education, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the digital economy.

Through these partnerships, Cyber University is taking important steps toward training highly qualified professionals for the digital era, opening broad prospects for the university’s development and contributing to the advancement of Uzbekistan’s education system.

It is worth noting that on 20 January 2025, the President of Uzbekistan signed a decree establishing Cyber University as a state institution.
