Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Within the framework of the Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference, a meeting was held with representatives of the Japanese company Outsourcing Technology Inc. The meeting was attended by Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, along with members of the IT Park Uzbekistan delegation.

On behalf of Outsourcing Technology Inc., the negotiations involved Yuma Yamaguchi, Head of the Global Recruiting Department; Toshiyuki Chubu, Head of the Consulting Solutions Department; and Yasuyuki Noguchi, representing the company Digital Knowledge.

During the discussion, the Uzbek side provided a detailed presentation of the country’s potential in IT and engineering outsourcing, highlighting the tax and visa incentives offered by IT Park Uzbekistan, ongoing workforce training programs, and the favorable conditions created specifically for Japanese companies.

One of the key objectives of the meeting was to showcase Uzbekistan as a promising destination for IT and engineering outsourcing, as well as to discuss the country’s talent pool and mechanisms for international exchange of IT specialists. It was particularly noted that the first graduates of the Japan Digital University (JDU) in Uzbekistan have already been employed by Outsourcing Technology Inc. This was regarded as an important step in the development of human capital and international cooperation between Japan and Uzbekistan.

The Japanese company emphasized that it is currently investing in educational programs aimed at adapting international engineers to the Japanese labor market. Prospects for cooperation in workforce training directly within Uzbekistan were also discussed.

Following the meeting, the company representatives were invited to participate in the Global Business Services Forum, where it was agreed that concrete negotiations with IT Park would take place. Outsourcing Technology Inc. expressed strong interest in Uzbekistan’s opportunities and announced plans to visit the country for a deeper study of its potential in the IT and engineering sectors.
