Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Chinese companies have expressed their intention to establish a new materials industrial park and build a wind power plant in Fergana Region, the regional administration’s press service reported.

Governor of Fergana Region Khayrullo Bozorov held talks with a group of Chinese investors to discuss promising projects for implementation in the region.

Zhongan Materials Technology Co., Ltd. plans to develop an industrial park in Fergana focused on coal processing and the production of eco-friendly fuel, modern metal and wood furniture, solar-powered lighting equipment, and environmentally safe reinforced concrete blocks, as well as wall and ceiling panels made from stone-polymer materials. In addition, the company intends to implement projects to construct a business service center and a residential complex.

Another Chinese company, Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group, led by Ma Zhengshan, proposed building a wind power plant in Fergana. The company specializes in the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of wind turbines.

Khayrullo Bozorov expressed readiness to provide full support for the implementation of these initiatives and stressed the importance of careful planning for each project.

Following the talks, the parties agreed on joint measures to accelerate their realization.
