Bukhara Oil Refinery Reduces AI-92 Gasoline Prices
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Bukhara Oil Refinery (BNPZ) has lowered wholesale prices for AI-92 gasoline, Uzbekneftegaz reported.
The starting price per ton of fuel at exchange trading dropped by 1.97% — from 12.881 million to 12.628 million soums. As a result, a liter of gasoline on the exchange will now cost around 9,400 soums.
The company noted that the price reduction became possible thanks to the optimization of production processes and the implementation of a set of measures to lower production costs. The plant has increased gasoline output, which also made it possible to reduce prices.
Uzbekneftegaz emphasized that this is only the first stage of a program aimed at maintaining stability in the fuel market.
In the future, a gradual reduction in prices for high-octane fuel is planned to stimulate the development of the domestic market.
