Bank Deposits in Uzbekistan Reach 355.6 Trillion Soums as of July 1
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of 1 July 2025, the total volume of deposits placed in commercial banks of Uzbekistan amounted to 355.62 trillion soums, according to data published by the Central Bank.
State-owned banks attracted 183.97 trillion soums in deposits, accounting for 52% of the total, while private banks held 171.66 trillion soums, or 48%.
UzNational Bank leads the market with a deposit base of 44.55 trillion soums, representing 13% of the total deposits in the banking system.
Capitalbank ranks second with 38.18 trillion soums (11%), followed by UzPromStroyBank with 27.17 trillion soums (8%).
Among private banks, Hamkorbank stands out with 12.73 trillion soums in deposits, and Ipak Yuli Bank with 11.88 trillion soums.
The smallest deposit volumes were recorded at Smart Bank — 23 billion soums, Saderat Bank of Iran — 54 billion soums, and Yangi Bank — 353 billion soums. Eurasian Bank attracted no deposits.
Among state-owned banks, the lowest figures were registered at Turonbank (5.72 trillion soums), Alokabank (14.80 trillion soums), and Microcreditbank (8.76 trillion soums).
