Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Competition Development Committee, within its authority, continues to monitor the sale of highly liquid and monopolistic products on stock exchanges.

During this monitoring, a Special Commission of the Committee's territorial office in Tashkent city identified signs of antitrust violations by Bektemir-Spirt Experimental JSC in the sale of a product known as "barda" (distillers grains).

Based on the identified facts, and in accordance with Article 29 of the Law "On Competition" as well as the Regulation approved by Resolution No. 225 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated October 12, 2005, a case has been initiated against the company for violating competition laws.

Additional information will be provided upon completion of the case review in accordance with the established procedure.
