Andijan Region Signs Memorandum on Textile Cooperation with U.S.-based ITF GROUP

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A memorandum of cooperation in the textile industry has been signed in St. Louis, Missouri, between the hokimiyat of Andijan Region and ITF GROUP, a company operating in the United States.

The main objective of the document is to further develop the textile sector in Andijan Region, attract foreign direct investment, introduce modern technologies, and expand production capacities.

Under the memorandum, the parties plan to attract investment into the region, establish modern textile enterprises, modernize production processes, enhance export potential by bringing local products to international markets, create thousands of new jobs, and organize training and retraining programs for qualified specialists.

In addition to boosting economic efficiency, the memorandum is expected to foster investment activity in Andijan Region, promote local brands on the international stage, and strengthen Uzbekistan’s global competitiveness in the textile industry.
