An underground pedestrian crossing was built in just 48 hours in Tashkent region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An underground pedestrian crossing was constructed in the Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region in a record 48 hours, the Committee for Automobile Roads of Uzbekistan reported.

The agency released a video showing the construction process. Work began at 6 a.m. on August 20 and was completed exactly two days later, at 6 a.m. on 22 August.

The report does not disclose details such as the length, width, or cost of the project.

It is known, however, that the construction was carried out in stages: first, one section of the crossing was built, and once it was completed, the team moved on to the other side of the road.

To speed up the process, prefabricated concrete structures were used.
