An official welcoming ceremony for the President of Uzbekistan takes place in Ljubljana

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Today, a solemn official welcoming ceremony was held at Congress Square in Ljubljana for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who arrived on a visit to the Republic of Slovenia.

The President of Uzbekistan was warmly greeted by the President of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar. An honor guard was formed in his honor, and a military orchestra performed the national anthems of both countries.

The heads of state inspected the honor guard and greeted members of the official delegations.

As part of the visit program, a wreath-laying ceremony took place at the “Zvezda” Park Memorial to the Victims of All Wars, as a sign of respect for the fallen and a commitment to strengthening peace and humanitarian values.
