Ambassador of Uzbekistan Visits Fars Province and Meets with Iranian Governor
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek Ambassador Fariddin Nasriev visited Iran’s Fars province and held a meeting with its governor, Hossein Ali Amiri, the Dunyo news agency reported.
During the meeting, it was noted that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran is strengthening thanks to the political will of the leaders of both countries. Particular attention was given to developing relations with Iran’s neighboring regions, which remains a priority of the country’s state policy.
Governor Hossein Ali Amiri emphasized the importance of interregional ties for expanding trade and economic cooperation.
The parties agreed to organize reciprocal visits of regional delegations to discuss practical aspects of bilateral engagement.
