Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan national team midfielder Abbosbek Fayzullaev has officially joined Turkish club İstanbul Başakşehir, transferring from CSKA Moscow.

The transfer fee amounted to €7.5 million, marking the most significant move in the 21-year-old footballer’s professional career. CSKA confirmed it will receive the full amount in a single payment.

In the 2024/25 season, Fayzullaev made 27 appearances for CSKA, scoring two goals and providing four assists. He also helped the team win the Russian Cup. According to Transfermarkt, his market value has reached €8 million.

Fayzullaev joined CSKA in the summer of 2023 from Tashkent’s Pakhtakor for €500,000. Thus, within one season, the Moscow club secured a profit 15 times greater than its original investment.
