Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- This year, more than 35,000 grain farms in our country are growing crops on irrigated land plots of 1,32,000 hectares. This was announced by the head of the information service of the Council of Farmers, Dekhkan Farms and Owners of Homestead Lands Jahongir Rahmonov.
It is expected that 7.8 million 800 thousand tons or 1 million 100 thousand tons more grain will be grown in these areas due to the increase in yield compared to last year.
The sowing season for the 2022 harvest ended 10-12 days earlier than in previous years, and the number of seedlings per hectare increased from 4 million 800 thousand to 5 million 500 thousand compared to last year (by 50-60 thousand more per hectare).
